The biggest playground for lots of activities is right before the door of the family hotel Waldhof: the Großarl valley, its forests and mountains, offering new, unforgettable adventures for every holiday. But I, Wurzl, the Waldhof gnome, have also constructed a large adventure playground for the kids in the spacious grounds around the hotel.
Fenced-in Playgrounds for a Relaxed Holiday
Immediately after breakfast you can storm the fenced-in playground with adventure tree-house and tunnel slide. When the sun is high up in the sky, it’s time for splashing in the natural swimming pond. All playgrounds around the hotel are fenced in, so that no one gets lost.
The Greatest Happiness on Earth is Sitting in the Saddle of a Horse
Horses are sensitive and pleasant animals. We constructed the covered riding site, where our two Icelandic ponies Eidfaxy and Stygor are waiting for you three times a week in the course of our kids’activity programme. Wurzl’s advice for riding experts: saddle my ponies whenever you like. Eidfaxy & Stygor are always happy about a little outing. This extra fun is of course included in our offers for kids! Hop on the “Tuffi”- Express and Discover the Großarl Valley
The “Tuffi”-express takes our little guests and their parents up to the chalet to enjoy a barbecue, or to participate in rafting for kids, concluded with grilled sausages.
