Waldhof, the Austrian Family Hotel: Destinations for Summer Excursions
In summer I recommend hiking tours in the mountains of Salzburg. Eidfaxy and Stygor are often part of the team or we take ”Tuffi”, the Waldhof kids’ express. Three times a week we make hiking tours up to the mountains or to the river at the top of the valley. We could build a raft or grill sausages over an open fire – I always think of something new to treat my young guests.

Are you ready for an exciting adventure with Eidfaxy and Stygor? This is what I worked out for you: together with our ponies we walk up to a nearby mountain chalet. A special highlight for the adventurous kids: you can spend one night in our mountain chalet together with our nannies. After dinner we will go hunting for natural materials in the woods for creating a picture or we make a torch hike in the dark and look for creatures living in the sticks. Exciting, isn’t it?
After breakfast Tuffi will take us back to the hotel. Your parents will be dying to hear about your night-time adventures!
